Davis-Kerby-Hodges-Wallace Branch

From the files of Stephen M. Lawson

Samuel Davis and Sarah

Elizabeth Davis and Francis Kerby

Elizabeth Kerby and William Hodges

Frances Hodges and Samuel W. Wallace

Branches are not as detailed or organized, or as rigorously checked as the main trunks of the family tree. They are intended to provide possible avenues for further research and to possibly provide readers with a connection to the main tree. There is no intention to extend the branch unless other links to the compiler's ancestry are discovered.

The David-Kerby-Hodges-Wallace Branch provides a connection between the Kerby ancestors of Lucy Jane (FREEMAN) LAWSON and the Wallace Family of York District, SC. There would seem to be a connection between this Wallace Family and the Wallace ancestors of Iva Melvina (FREEMAN) LAWSON, but the connection has not yet been determined and likely does not exist on this side of the Atlantic.

Information on this branch is from The Family of Samuel W. Wallace, by Robert E. Wallace (1993), available on CD-ROM #1261 from Heritage Books.
